Michael is helping my son to re-discover his love of playing the Electric Guitar. Like most kids, my son never "loved" practicing his guitar. Since starting lessons with Michael, he is excited to practice & excited to go to his lessons! He is getting faster every week, gaining confidence, and learning songs that he loves! With past teachers, my son was learning to read music, but not really learning to play. Michael has him playing songs and has casually taught him how to read the corresponding music, while making it fun at the same time. He even plays along with him! He always makes sure we have whatever we need in order to practice on our own, even if it takes a little more time. He's not rushing us out the door! I think it's because he's having a great time too...he seems to really care about his students! I would highly recommend Michael's Music Academy!

Outstanding music teacher.
My 15 year old boy came in to loving music as Michael started showing him new and fun ways to play songs he requested. My son plays piano and guitar. He is loving the piano more than ever. He can not only play but read music as well. I give Michael 5 stars. He comes to our home weekly and is always on time. Lessons are normally 45 mins however, Michael spends that extra time in making sure my son has his lesson right.
I'm a proud parent of my son and his abilities and I owe a lot of it to the teaching of Michael.
I highly recommend him. Great pricing too.
