Piano Lessons
Michael's Music Academy offers the best Central Coast piano lessons by presenting repertoire and technique with fun and innovative methods. Michael provides lessons for both children and adults in classical, jazz, rock, pop and other genres.
Core principles of music theory are emphasized and fundamentals necessary for all levels of performance are also addressed. Training occurs at all ages in theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and history. Each year there are two student recitals which provide the student an opportunity to perform in public.
Guitar Lessons
Whatever your style, Michael can help you develop the skills and techniques you need to be a great guitarist. He teaches acoustic and classical guitar, bass guitar and electric guitar. Classical, rock, jazz, pop, and other genres are taught.

Drum and Percussion
Drum lessons at Michael's Music Academy combine all aspects of percussion and music theory into a comprehensive program for both practice and study. Michael will guide students in maximizing their ability to learn new repertoire and techniques with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort as well as read music and play with a band.
Mandolin Lessons
Learn to play classical Vivaldi or contemporary Coldplay on the mandolin. Michael can teach you the skills and techniques you need to be a great mandolin player, incorporating music theory into each lesson. Training includes ear training, sight reading, and technique.
Ukulele Lessons
Have fun learning to play standard Hawaiian ukulele or any other genre. A simple instrument to learn, it is portable and versatile. Training includes ear training, sight reading, and technique.
Music Theory
Theory is included in each lesson but also offered as a separate course. Music theory involves the study of music and the foundation of the appreciation of music in general.
Performance Vocals
Do you need to prepare for an audition? Or for a show? Michael offers performance voice lessons for all ages, incorporating classic techniques for vocal development and artistic expression.
